can you rephrase that sentence?
what i understand is that you see as fact that 'a warehouse fills materials into a port' and that that fact is the reason that ports should sell either a game feature or something that purposely annoys users.

it's maybe my poor understanding of English, but come to the rescue and rephrase.

Is the fact the trade routes may do something that harms the trade route creator a feature or some bug/thing that is purposely there to annoy users.

When you are switching between warehouse trade routes. It happens.

i just set it to collect from one side and deposit in the other so once i start buying the resources ahead of time it transports them

More often than I care to admit in my case but those same rules allow me more flexibility and variations in shipping/cargo transfer. If I screw up... I screw up. At least I have the ability to undo the screw up I caused myself.

If there was not already a solution, I would be on the other side of the argument.

Well this does have a penalty if you do screw up. You lose the resources from burning them and gain nothing back.

This whole thread is solved by a single thing.

When you buy low, sell high, where do you put your stock?

In a warehouse...

So if you want to SAVE money and make more, but 20k into your warehouse and set it to load from warehouse then market....

This is how many fleets hit that top 10 list before gold trading became a thing.

It's not a bug, it's not a feature, its just here. If you don't know how to set your routes right, you either cant read, can't click or both....

Please pay attention...

I set mine correct 100% and it still sometimes loads the wrong material, but only once.

Like I take a fleet out of the standard trade route and make it do something else. Then I put it back and for that FIRST load, it can load into the wrong warehouse.
