Just to add a little spice, one can use the recovered ships in the salvage process too. I think the math just got a little bit harder... ;)

i dont think you dont have more ships just because you cant afford building ships. It is because the prize of officers:) thats why we using current statistics;)

Salvage should give officers also:)

Hey, they bring back gold bars, isn't this good enough?

It becomes clear that the more gold bars traders get to move around, the higher the excitement for many aspects in the game.

well all ships has 1 crew in it. And we all know The Captain wont leave the ship before crew. so in this case at least some % rate should be that 1 crew might be an captain of ships:) not for every attempt but it would be good to have:D

Let's say we roll with this. Corrolary: Every time a ship sinks, you lose a captain...

How about if someone managed to get SoTL or Mow (It can be also only MoW) he will get 1 captain:) its not like i need captain or i can get that. But its really not that easy to achieve. But you can say he/she already got a mow what is the point of giving him another gift:)
