There are many ways to sugar coat a reaction however, after numerous interactions with Ivan, I know he moves with purpose and severe intent.

Well Stan isn't really moaning. He is saying Spain will take back what is theirs no matter what. Kinda like a "don't even try."

I admire Stan for the fact he doesn't bullshit others or put on a fake persona when he talks in public. I admire a player with much to own willing to speak out their thoughts; something many nation leaders no longer do. When in fact, I am willing to bet in reality many of these Kings are far more aggressive than Stan when talking through private messages.

sad that it takes some so long to realize the influence shifts i check out every port nearly every day seeing what influence is like if i can mention to someone hey influence of your nation has dropped by a butt load since yesterday you might want to find the culprit (most the times its not large enough of a shift for it to concern them.) saying anything and sometimes i just wont say anything if there's a war going on or something.

Meliva, Russia has seized a port before ;If I am correct it was off Wales at one time and the port of Tzogos the king, was Ivan. He lost the port, then he ran away from the game for a while ( Understandable, considering the amount he put in it ). Stan also likes, Ivans determination as do I.

But lets face it - So many of us, has seen war with ports or Spain in total war with another nation. I can list a bunch of us here that has seen there fair share, including BMW at one point; Which leads to a few facts.

1) Who was it that came out on top of every war? Spain with the other nations either being crushed, or giving up the fight.

2) Who was it that did not attack until provoked? Examples of this are when Shadowood attacked one of Spains Ports or perhaps the time Rothschild attacked a majority of Spain's ports. Or even, when Cuba struck Spain's ports? Spain has been after 5 ports for a while - Which they finally cut down the number of ports, and people still do not seem happy.

3) Stan, ultimately is the speaker for Spain for in his guild who's loyalty's remain with Spain,who was created by the very person that led USA into war with Spain. We have seen Stan talking for Spain countless times, Lodswe does not speak for Spain for he does not read Forums. Jim Hawkins bless him, does not speak often. I personally like Stan when we talk - We are blunt with each other and there is no bullshit, if anyone could speak it is him.

4) Although lost a few key members - Spain is still the powerhouse. Perhaps a award for the longest standing Nation? Yes, it could be argued since the departure of the likes of Joe_Boot it went weaker. I say went as they (Spain) managed to pick up the pieces, and carry on just like that. Which shows a lot about the transition. Do not get me wrong though - They still hold a majority amount of power, in some of the players decks which they know how to use.

Joe_Boot was a powerhouse on his own - When Cuba struck, I remember within a matter of hours he lost every single ship he owned, including his mass of influence. He would always be there casting a 'insane' amount of Transport Immigrants. He and Rolando de Salvo led to many Man of War fleets being taken.

I am going to have to go with Spain with this one - Russia will fall.

For those who says what is Spain to me? A nation which has helped me a lot - If Stan suggests, Ivan is 'pissed' due to not everybody voted his 'law' then I will believe Stan. Fact is they do help there Citizens - The Citizens just have to give something back. Which is quite right too.

The problem is there is not enough respect shown : hard-working thieves have rarely being given due respect by their victims : it is beyond disgusting that such a state of affairs should exist in Avonmora : so, I propose that a 'respect tax' be introduced to all plunders, and anyone who fails to respect their attacker with sufficient gratitude should lose 50% of their purse. Of course, some fail to respect the ones they attack and so a 'disrepect tax' will apply there too. How will we know who to respect and who to not respect? Simple. they will tell us. Loudly and often.
