Early beta version of evasion suggestion:
Evasion probability = ((Defenders Speed) / (Attackers Speed) ) - 0,5
Obviously, if it's above 1, it is 1, and if it's below 0, it's 0. This way, with equal speeds, the defender has a 50% chance to escape. If the defender is 50% faster than the attacker, he always escapes. If the attacker is twice as fast as the defender, the defender never escapes.
If the defender's speed is 70% of the attacker, he has a 20% chance to escape, like today.
I still don't see the need to modify the evasion rules, but if, for some reason, there is a desire to do so, and speed is to play a part, then this is a way to achieve such an effect.
