while i appreciate merc's attempt to liven up the forum, what they are doing is pure extortion. they are saying "pay us or we cast voodoo." i hope that we all do not take this without fighting back - it is no different that the 'assassin's auction'. merc cannot be allowed to do this without punishment. i urge all guilds to show string retaliation and teach them that they are not going to be able to get away with things like this

Although it is a form of extortion, it provides a number of ways out of the 'trap' without use of personal valuables or gold.
