like rl stock, a card represents something (x% of a compagny) and a value on the market. in a 'just'world that value should represent the actual value of the compagny/card. But is doesn't! presidental elections, confidence in the market (not the actual goods that the market sells) etc. determine the value of the stock/card as much or more than the actual value of what it represents.

the price on the auction is the real price, what you actually can do with it does not matter. you want to buy tulip-bulbs for 20 million? go ahead, maybe tomorrow they're worth 40 million. or the bubble pops and the bulbs go ten to the guilder.

If you want to buy cards at a price that makes no sense and never get a value of it then go ahead. I stand by my point. The card actual value is not even a fifth of the market value

And I'm able to do the math that proves you wrong. A TI card should easily be worth 2M gc to a big nation.

I don't often speak up for other players, but in this case I have to stand behind Phoenix on his offer. Do I think that his offer is the best out there? Not necessarily. However, I do appreciate the fact that he made an offer to buy the use of a card. I do not see the need in others "bombing" his post with negativity. He made an offer. He made an honest offer. If you have a better offer, make your own post and make your case. There is no need in trying to put down his legitimate offer, especially if you are not making an offer yourself.

I have made offers before in the forums before. I was subject to this form of "bullying". People made negative comments about my offer as if I was trying to cheat people. Phoenix isn't trying to cheat anyone, he is simply making an offer for the use of cards much like I did. I can tell you from experience, you talking negatively about a person who makes an honest offer discourages them from making other offers. This means less offers on the market for all. After all, the "deal police" are one reason I do not make offers any more. It is a shame as I know some of the newer players would love to have some of my gold.

If you don't like his offer, make your own post giving your own offer. I would be willing to bet that Phoenix would not be blasting your offer on your post.

I'm just pointing out that there are much better offers out there. If anyone wants to transform a voodoo card into gold coins, they can first sell the card on the voodoo market, then sell the credits for gold coins. Any other offer should be measured against that.

I think, however, that some newer players are not aware of how the markets work (experienced players don't need my comments in such posts). That's why I respond to posts like this. I would like the new players to get best value for their cards. That way they will grow faster, and sooner become potential clients - or targets

Let me put it this way. Just because I offered a price does not mean I am not open to 1 on 1 negotiation.
I need about 200 extra cards by my estimates. And I am willing to go gold or credit.

I stand behinde phoenix, he is making an offer which he thinks it is fair if you don't then don't comment pass it same as I passed many other offers... Haron you said that you will buy them for 6 credits and buy credits for 200K wouldn't be better for someone who is selling this card to sell it for 9-10 credits and sell those credits for more gold on credit exchange in this comparison phoenix offer is better...

I posted as I felt the distance between PK's initial offer and what could be had in the markets was too wide : thus my comment it was poor value : that's all : I made no recommendation to avoid it or criticised PK for it : he makes an offer, that's fair enough : I posted why I wont be taking it up, for reasons that are entirely pragmatic. AS PK then amended his offer to a level in which I felt it was much better value, if one wanted fast coin without market delays, I dont think my comments were unwarranted or should have been self-censored.

ADDED : I have already posted comments that market prices are 'silly' in some areas : this case highlights that opinion.
