There is no direct way.

There are some indirect ones though. Mostly with voodoo and most preferrably with the cooperation of someone you can trust.

You could use...
-Tidal Wave (Earns you a ship you can then sell).
-Booty Master (Cast on a rich friend preferrably - you can exhancge it with a master craftnmanship for your friend)
-Expedition journey (on a high level Ship of the Line - it costs turns but it can yield a high outcome)
-Commandeer (on a friend's ship -exepct if you can find an enemy-, you can then sell the ship)

Or you could try through plunder, but this takes time. The proposals above are rather immediate.

Generally, find an advanced player and work some deals with him. If I was starting now, I would exchange credits for a lvl 10 SoL. This guy here did this: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=421
