That was hardly war fair. If you think it was then you are in for an eye opening experience. But I must return to my duties as a commoner. It's hard work being tolerated by those who are in 2nd place

I know... lots of GC was sucked into the big black hole never to be seen again. You had to know any gc and voodoo you invested would be lost.
This is why what you did was really dumb. Not calling you dumb personally but it was just a bonehead move.
Especially after Juicy in a couple attempts to push Spain into a war with Egypt.

Fortunately, The Egyptian Kings word carries much earned respect through being trustworthy and if he says his trusted council denies involvement, Spanish council believes him.
Make no mistake, What Isle of Man did to Spain was an act of war.
So far, it has been contained to essentially port warfare. If Isle of Man escalates this incursion into Spain by attacking shipping routes, it then gets really messy with guilds also getting pulled in to the fray.

A huge money losing proposition overall and lets face it, the only thing that will happen in the end will be the downfall of Isle of Man as a nation and many of your teammates wondering why they got into this mess you created to begin with.
My eyes are not that good these days but when I say I have seen it before, you can count on that !

If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles.

And Juicy, you are so much more clever than I give you credit for.
I thought that statement about Egypt's trusted council would go right over your head.

I kinda side with Man and even Juicy on this one...

Even though I was instrumental in the implementation of Spain's recent Stipends, increased there influence by nearly 20 mil, I had to fight tooth and nail for every single thing I wanted. EXCEPT Spain's excellent TI program.

I had put nearly a billion into Spain in equivalent values, not to mention helped defend some of the members of incursions.

One of the major factors I had in leaving Spain is the disregard for merit in the top council. The council of Spain has remained the same for a long time, and while it brought stability, a person, such as one who pours gold and voodoo into their ports, could not get any form of merit based council opinion. I was not consulted on nearly everything, even though I was the 3rd most influential Spanish governor, the members refused to allow my original stipend plan go through, instead they opted for one making the council in place more powerful.

Spain's council has become bias, corrupt, and overall not accepting of potential members.

I support other nations on a personal basis due to the fact that if u want to move up beyond that of a "governor" and become part of the council that actually does something (not just listed) you can if u wanted to.

The Isle of Man Supports, welcomes and considers the thought of all members. Anyone is welcomed to advance to any position.
Members are rewarded even if they contribute to the nation but do not choose to rank up. Perhaps this makes us weak. Perhaps this makes us strong.
A certain member of this nation lost the majority of his assets following a leader that gave no consideration or pay to the members that supported or followed him. This member lost all of those assets and choose to use his remaining assets to rebuild the nation in a form that is not so elitist.

I slept very well last night, but woke up thinking more on these words... I am curious Stan if you can share with me (and others) what you mean by Generosity. Generosity to me, Isle of Man, others not involved in this?? Please let me know how you feel you and Spain have felt Generous.

Stan Rogers wrote:While we show tolerance.

You also used this word "tolerance" twice.. What have you had to Tolerate so much from others outside of Spain?

If you look at recent history, you will see Spain has passively retaken the port of Hannes two times with out furthering their cause. You will see Spain allowed Bermuda to colonize into Spanish held ports when they were under siege and displaced from their native homeland.
You will see Spain assisted the peaceful relocation of ummm...who was that tiny nation who initially took over Gasp during the Spanish /USA war ? Despite their hostile takeover, Spain recognised them as a fledgling nation seeking a home and did not forcibly retake the port but rather, made arrangements for their peaceful move to Psaral.
Regardless, control was then passed to Isle of Man who remained peaceful until a few days ago.
And speaking of USA, just recently, Spain allowed the takeover of Caspian to there reformed council who also displayed peaceful gestures and express interest in reacquiring a port to call home.

All these incidents I would deem as generous and tolerance shown by Spain but that is just a personal opinion. Some may have a different definition of generosity and tolerance and some could interpret it as weakness and cowardice within the nation.

We would like to dispel the last definition of generosity and tolerance among some and unfortunately Isle of Man has crossed the line and now must pay the price of their greed and underhanded actions.
