They are beheading men, raping kids, stabbing women, disregarding international law, gaining ground rapidly, and killing anyone who doesn't obey their little Caliphate which means every religion except theirs. That means you would be going to, so I would call them a threat, buddy. Pretty selfish, but I don't expect anything more than a Bernie supporter

I would never support ISIS. They are terrible people and I do not agree with any type of fundamentalists. My point is that what they are doing is small talk to what is happening the US. The media just loves to cover ISIS, a group of only 1,500 militants, so that's all we fear. There is much worse things happening at home.

Are you dumb?

1500 militants my butt... there's more than that... guess what....

We may have bad things going on in the U.S. but we don't rape our kids and stab women for being christian, or muslim...

You want to say that ISIS is better than some of the shit going on in the U.S.

You wanna know why they cover ISIS so goddang much?

They are the first Islamic Extremist group we have in our era that takes and holds land...

Think about it. Most guns you have to buy... when you have tax money you can build them...

Terrorists without the need for external support, THAT is bad...

I have gotten my information of 1,500 militants from one source, but I looked into it more, and found out there most sources estimate 10k-30k. Going off of CIA observations.

https://southfront.org/the-isis-militan ... -are-they/
http://warontherocks.com/2015/02/how-ma ... ally-have/

Now for land owned by ISIS
http://syriancivilwarmap.com/

Even though it says ISIS, there is also DAESH. That means other terrorist groups. The Syrian Civil War is Syria versus hundreds of different terrorist groups, so this isn't just what ISIS has taken, it what other terrorist groups have as well.

Currently ISIS has taken provinces in Syria and Iraq, Syria taking the worst of it. If ISIS is such a disturbance to the US, lets look at funds. ISIS takes in a estimated 80mil per month. That is close to 1 bil a year, so we will round it there. Now lets pull up howmuch other countries spend on their military each year.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/ ... world.html

Our military is 500x better than funded than theirs yearly. Lets look at Syria with 3.3 billion defense budget, Iraq at 6 billion. Most of the land ISIS has taken is still being disputed over. If you even look at it, ISIS is completely surrounded by countries against them. Even though I do agree ISIS has definitely spread since June 8th 2015, they have taken very large hits from their peak in December 21, owning half of Syria and Iraq. ISIS is almost completely kicked out of Iraq. If you look at it, the US could come in just utterly bomb the place to hell if needed, easily as well. But it is best left for other countries to take care of.

In response, Al Queda has held land before ISIS, this isn't the first time.

Lets worry about something that has inspired/carried out 1,200 murders outside of Iran/Iraq, but not Chicago, which has twice as many murders per year.

Rape and murder is what happens when any opposing force conquers another's land. Honestly, I am not appalled, from Romans to ISIS, it is just a way of war that can never be ceased.

I was trained with a 9mm Beretta, and the m4 carbine...

I have a 5.56 AR variant at home... only cause I can't get an m4 as a civi.

7.62 is mostly AK-47... and the 357 Is too slow..

:p

As was I, however, I hate the 9mm Beretta. For a semi auto I prefer a 40. However for smoke trail, I prefer the 357 magnum revolver.

The M4 is a great weapon, but I'm partial to the M-249. Nothing feels better than laying down some automatic weapons fire.

And 7.62 is not mostly AK-47. Ak-47 fires 7.62x39. I guess you never fired a .308 WIN (7.62x51 NATO). The M14 is a great classic rifle or you can take the AR version AR-10 or AR-10B.

My thing is, Chin, you say banning guns will solve the problem of the mass murdering hybrid breed of top tier assault fully automatic grenade launching bayonetted monsters but the people who intentionally kill are usually in shady business outside of the law and won't care for legislation that says "U CANT HAVE UR GUN." Why waste time making legislature that will not stop what you want, because, as seen in the UK, when guns are banned those are actually become deterred by this switch to other, arguably more painful and brutal, ways to kill others. They have an immensely high rate of people killed with knives. I also don't like how that which is the last line of defense (guns) against tyranny is actually being considered to be regulated by those who can threaten us with tyranny. "register ur guns, we wont do anything" will turn into "all fully autos will be confiscated, safety" which evolves to "any AR 15 (lol) with a mag size of 10+ will be taken" then "all guns that are not props will be taken and your country will be taken over by those who wish its demise." Sorry bud, just like old times I guess, you don't make a whole lot of sense.

I never stated we should ban guns, I state that how easy it is to get a gun (especially an unlicensed weapon) is fearful.

Saying that we should focus on guns is basically saying limit the freedom to get one, which is a violation of the second amendment and a horrible thing that no one should want for a number of reasons.

We should focus on murder. And guns are used for murder. It is your amendment versus others lives. You may lock your gun up in a safe but others don't. Others keep an unlicensed MAC-11 they got from their neighborhood dealers in their car.

Example, the first amendment states you have freedom of speech, but you can't run into a movie theater and yell "fire."

You may own a gun, but you cannot start getting an unlicensed one and go around with it.

Let's focus on murder. Guns are used for murder, fists are used for murder... Let's regulate pillows in case someone gets an unlicensed one and strangles me. The government's job is guided by the constitution and if you start with the second amendment you will end with them all being shaved bit by bit, piece by piece until finally it's the USSR or North Vietnam or Cuba... Anything else?
