First to DezNutz: I think it's a very bad idea to be able to sell and buy to/from the game here. The only way for credits to enter the game, should be when people buy credits with real money. I very much fear a situation where credits can be bought from the game with gc.

I can agree with your comment partially. I however think that there should be a way to convert credits to gc without the need of other players. The system should provide a means to exchange credits to gc. The exchange of gc to credits should only occur between players.

If you ever wish to exchange credits to gc, and there are NO offers on the market (very unlikely) then contact me, and I'll be more than happy to buy your credits at your suggested half price :-)

why the double system? with the p2p system there is a means provided. the only snag could be is that no players are willing to buy your credits. then you're stuck.
however, when that happens, the market adjusts. lower your offer, make it more attractive that way and since you create a bargain some players who aren't really looking for credits will take them because of the great deal you offer them.

I'd refer back to my suggestion of a dual system :

Any bank can offer 'instant deals', the size of which would be limited by their level (as with deposits)

A market in which bids are made to buy or sell at a given price for those prepared to wait a bit for their price to be met.

There is a difference between exchanging hands and generating more currency. As most credits are generated by the system using real money, you are increasing the number of credits in the game without increasing the gold coin in the game. P2P trading is just exchanging currency between each others hands. You aren't generating anything. A system side exchange would allow one to take the credits generated by real money and exchange them into newly generated gold coin.

You can't steal credits or generate them outside of using real money. Gold coins are extremely important, the less gc in the game available, the less credits will theoretically be worth.

There is no difference between that player being able to sell the credits back directly to the game and putting them in the market. Putting in the market may take longer but it will generate more gc compared to selling them outright at a reduced price. And 3000 credits at 100k is only 300M. While that is a lot for small players, bigger players can generate that in a short period of time. No player is going to dominate the game with just 300M. They would have to maintain that, they would also become an instant target within the game. Voodoo does do damage.

Yes, Bigtea is a great example of someone able to build quickly, but where is Bigtea now? Most players that rise like that, generally don't last long in the game.

but if this came around they could destroy the economy by buying a ton of gems and getting a ton of gold that will cause credits and gold to become next to worthless
