Congrats Shadowood. We enjoyed the whole event as well.

We will do whatever we can to improve everything around it. It would be good to incorporate this as a stable event, either player run completely like this time or assisted by us in some way. We are already seeking ways to give more prominence to the draft starting from this one. We have already contacted Shadowood for the first thoughts.

From there after, anyone can cast his 2 cents of ideas (General Discussion could be a good starting point).

But to keep from milking there should be various parameters for choosing the Captains....1 time top 5 fame, other time top 5 influence holders, ship holders, officer holders.

Perhaps a bracketed skirmish final?

or we could do what i suggested and have 5 of them that are random active players (the winners go on and every sixth month those are the one's that get the rewards) and the winners dont get to be on the list again for a year or so if there still active

incorporate more players to build teams.

I really would like more options on a final. What team can gain most gold or influence in set period? Selected teams get temporary possession of Brig of War(Or any ship really) with 45 points to skirmish head to head and determine winner?
