exactly, the screwy math. the basic principles remain the same. but honestly, even though numbers do change slightly, they certainly don't change nowhere near as fast as technology, history and culture. I swear theres a new meme everyday, and whats cutting edge technology today will be ancient in a year or 2.

Socialism isn't the alternative to capitalism, it is the alternative to any system of government in which men are free. I think I've said this before, but socialism requires some men to be altruistic all of the time and all men to be altruistic some of the time. It is because of this that, sadly, it will never be embraced by me. Speaking on the topic of politics, I hope everyone paid respects to those who lost their lives in the tragic attacks against America's WTC. My history teacher got really heated the day after and teared up, saying he lost 6 good friends that day and had to tell his kids that he would probably have to go overseas again. The one regret he has about this is Obama pulling the soldiers out and leaving a power vacuum, letting ISIS fill it in.

well I didn't, mainly because I have crap memory and tend not to remember tragic events, and I didn't lose anyone to it. I still feel sorry for the families of those who died though.
