Port Gossip Improvement

Postby Donald Trump » Tue Sep 06, 2016 11:46 am

Please add a "Next Port" button on the Port Gossip page.

For someone who uses it a lot, I am getting tired of having to switch to a different port via. map every time that I look at it.

As well for those skirmishers, and "Instant" button on the Port Gossip for people who try to skirmish a lot would be very useful.

Being able to hotkey some ports would be nice. Sometimes, you are in the moment and quickly need to change ports.

I agree. This would speed up checking gossip for every port. And should be easy to implement, since it's already done for port battles.

You don't need to use the map today, though, Chin Chin: In your current port, click "port gossip". Check that, then click "port battles". Then "next port", then "port gossip" again. Repeat 21 times...

I do the same as Haron suggested. I switch to port battles. And then back to gossip. It would be really nice not having to do that. +1

Right now I go to port battles -> next port -> port gossip -> plunder.

I would love it if plunder and port gossip had a "next port" option.

+1 with plunder following the listing of fleets (those who are in ports first)

I would find this useful on the following pages in order of usefulness 1 being most useful

1 gossip
2 plunder
3 court

This also may be useful in market my also be useful, but I can see that I may also result in some accidental sales or purchases if a player was not careful and also I see that warehouse presence or lack of could present an conflict with this feature.

How would the plunder button work, for to look at the Plunder you need a fleet in the port? If so, for players with a few War fleets this Implement would be considerably useless lets say a player with 3 war fleets in different ports uses this, would the button take you to the next plunder page you have a fleet in or would you be cycling through nonsense of which you can not see anything?

Whilst another query I have be' where would it be positioned, as if ye be a pirate, on-top of the plunder description is a quote stating such like the following: " Its our gold, do not let them take it!" which, if the buttons were posted above it could really mess up positioning ; And a dirty trick we pirates be using.

Otherwise, +1

If ye can answer the query's, then it be a additional +1.

I like the idea of a next port for people who situate their war fleets in different ports for plundering. But for merchants, this would mean they would cycle through their trade routes when used, and for some, that's like all 24 ports. I would expect this to require some kinda debugging. While the port gossip page would cycle through ports like Port Battles would, and frankly, it would make much more sense to have a "Next Port" button on Port Gossip than it would be to keep it in "Port Battles"

with a 'previous port' button the problem for few fleet players is solved, they go: next, next, next, previous, previous, previous and repeat the cycle as long as they want.

i need the previous button because at times i click faster then that my mind registers what is shown. :P
