(Legendary) Free Will

Do you have an idea for a card ? Do you want a tweak on existing voodoo cards? Perhaps you even want one of them removed? This is where you can post your suggestion.

(Legendary) Free Will

(20 Turns)
(2 Hours)

All the next cast during the duration cost only 25% turns. Except for Blacklist, and all voodoo that can invest turns in, etc.

Cost
10 Time Spiral
5 Self Sacrifice
10 Bless
5 Credits

Edits,
Changed turn reduction and added a limit for what voodoo can be effected.
Changed cost a bit.

Way to OP. You can cast an insane amount of voodoo in 2 hours if it didn't cost turns. You could empty your chest! Valar could cast all his assassins at once!!

I think the idea is interesting. It IS powerful, though. But is it TOO powerful?

I think the fact that it gives you the possibility to use UNLIMITED voodoo might be too strong. Perhaps if it was altered so that all voodoo cast within those two hours cost only 25% (rounded up) of it's usual cost? Or something like that? It would increase your ability to pour out lots of voodoo in a short time, but it would at least still give you a limit.

I agree with Haron. Using NO turns is a little to OP, but I like the idea. If you changed that aspect of it slightly it would be a +1 from me. Also the name doesn't seem to accurately reference what the card does.

I still think voodoo should not cost less. It should take time, planning, turn calculation to be able to cast multiple voodoo on target(s). I would hate to see this available in the hands of a smart or even suicidle player with lots of voodoo. Turns is one safeguard to avoid, I would say abuse.

You are aware that even today, pirates planning such raids start by getting 400 turns, then buy turns with credits until they get sufficient amounts to do serious voodoo attacks, right? So this is already possible today. Doing it with a legendary voodoo card instead is, in my opinion, a matter of setting the price for that card correctly, so that it becomes an expensive card, and pirates would have to decide if this card or the existing strategy would be the preferred option.

Yes. This is what I am referring to. What if a pirate bought and stored 1000 turns. Then cast this card. They would effectively have 4000 turns at your suggested 25%. I think all turns should be planned out and bought with no additional aid to that.

OK, I see now what you fear. And as I said, the card IS powerful. Manipulating turns always is. I think I'm coming around to your point of view, though. Perhaps this IS too powerful. Like the suggestion to have a tech that would allow building LMMs with only 5 turns.
