an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure mate. he has mindbar up, to prevent losses and retaliation. he probably knew there was going to be some major backlash from his threat, so he probably prepared before hand by stocking up on mindbars and countercurses.

My guess, he is just scared of backlash right now. Try to think more globally. There are voodoo that can be used against him without fear of retaliation. Those interested in contributing voodoo against the terrorist can use Conspiracy against India in the ports he controls and Black Death against the ports he controls (Kanoni and Neopolis). Looks like Black death has been used quite often already. If a freedom fighter is close enough in fame to Valar morghulis, then Propaganda can be used in those ports to lower his influence utilizing undercover and remain anonymous. Of course, a mindbar will stop those, so timing is key to usage of Propaganda.

When you are buying credits and voodoo, does it really matter.

Dez, you do know that everything is finite right? as in there is a limit to everything. even if valar is using real money to buy credits and voodoo, there is a limit to how much he can spend. sooner or later he would run out of spare money, or decide its a waste of money. and just because he can spend more to regain from losses doesn't mean he wont care if he suffers losses. why would he just leave himself wide open to getting hit, simply because he can spend money to regain it all, when he could prevent losses and not have to spend more money?

Yes, I understand that there are limits; however, there are only certain reasons for doing as Valar has.

What do you not approve of? Him extorting players in the game or the massive bounty placed on him for doing so?

I don't expect you or anyone else to have to explain themselves. For every action there is a consequence whether it be good or bad. Valar made a choice and the consequence of his action has been laid out by those that find his action completely unacceptable in this game.

However one man steals almost half a guilds war fleets... And gets away with it?...

It seems making a blind threat can draw more attention, then actually perusing what your after...

So, I am now going to wipe every player out Black Sparrow, Danik, TheLoveTiger! ( Blind threat - Please note I do not attend to do such )
