New Tech Financial Accountant

Postby Meliva » Fri Aug 26, 2016 5:41 pm

heres another idea I just came up with.

Tech-Financial Accountant-(your bankers figure out ways to cut budgets.)
Effect-each level decreases upkeep cost by 1%(this tech will not effect pirates, so they will not benefit from it.)
Prerequisite-Education level 10(this is open to suggestions.)
and maybe loan shark at a certain level when it is added.
Cost- 3 million gold per level, and same gold bar cost as education(open to suggestions on edits.)

Tell me what you think, and feel free to suggest a name change or any alteration.

De Computis et Scripturis should be the name of any voodoo card or tech that contains the ability to reduce operating costs due to increased efficiencies in bookkeeping.

Every merchant worth his salt will have read the Summa de rithmetic by Paciolo in 1494 and the 36 chapters that deal with bookkeeping and advent of double entry accounting in the De Computis et Scripturis chapters! Without an understanding of this information, traders and pirates are subject to pilfering and graft within their organizations!

No clue how to work out the dynamics of how it should work, but have had this "name" in my back pocket for quite some time!

that's pretty interesting. but that name is a bit complicated. I think it should be a bit simpler.

Good suggestion, ship upkeep is a constant cost that could use some technology to improve.
