Ah, but consider all my costs, Danik: Advertisement, organization, legal work... I'm lucky if I make a profit at all!

The lottery will be open all month! Save up your credits and buy tickets - maybe YOU will be the winner!

Haron wrote:The pot is equal to how many tickets are sold times ten credits. 90% of this is the prize the winner gets. So, of I sell 100 tickets, the prize is 900 credits. There will only be one winner, though.

And tickets are being sold! The winner will be announced on October 1st. Yes, this IS happening! Buy your tickets today!

You do realize that no one would buy it because there is no starting pot and the first person who buys it would just get a lost this means no one would even buy it.

First: I've already started selling, so you're wrong about nobody wanting to buy.
Second: I don't think you get the concept. Each ticket costs 10 credits. At the end of September, I draw a winner, with each ticket having the same chance of winning. The winner gets 90% of the total income. This is actually a better payout than most real world lotteries.

Well, its fine, because you didn't actually put some of your credits in as a starting pot, don't they realize you are really just robbing them of 10% of the credits.

You ain't losing money and are getting free credit for putting up a lotto.

Hehe, sure it does.

Most lotteries here in the USA take 50% or more of the total winnings although most of that ends up as taxes
