my oldest boy is also going to want to play. Right now he is not old enough to grasp the nuances of the game but will soon be. I think some rules like those shared above could benefit the game and keep cheaters out.

I remember the days when my little (not so much anymore) boy played. We never interacted inside the game. We never had any times when admin suspected us of being one person. I had an account back then too and found it lying around one day. I sent a present from that account to a player who was on my friends list in my active account and it was promptly banned and a notice put up to inform me. Trust me. Admin has same IP covered. They have for a long time. Many actions are targeted as suspicious. If there's any reason to believe any player is multi-playing, admin will know. Likewise, if it shows that the accounts are obviously played by different players, they'll know that too. Just don't advise your family (or friends if they start their accounts at your place after having seen you play) in any aspects of the game. Similar playing styles may show up as suspicious. Admin is fair and firm with cheating. If you're doing nothing wrong, you'll have no problems.

my son is 14 and asked me if he could play on the pg game? Itold him no for the fact that I accidentally created a second account. then had to explain to admin how and why.. I am afraid that if he opens an account using the only computer in the house that My character that i have dilligently worked to build up will be banned. so I know the feeling. you hate to say no but what can you do.. except take the chance to lose your own account??

I'll offer a suggestion to all who want to allow more than one person in your home to play Pirates Glory and have only one computer. You may want to install a copy of Chrome, Opera, Firefox or maybe others and limit each family member or roommate to only one browser for playing PG. There are programs out there that will allow the addition of a second keyboard, mouse and even desktop for the second monitor so that you can both play at the same time while not even knowing what the other is doing. You could even text chat, both sending messages at the same time. It may go a long way to proving that there is more than on person playing if you are playing separately. I could be wrong because I know very little about cheating and how it is detected but I do know that different people have different styles and will prove themselves to be the same person if they really are.
