Captain Dungeness reaches 1,000 captains!

Hello Fellow Sailors!
Seeing as HELM has recently celebrated our 3rd year anniversary I believe it be time to celebrate yet another milestone. Sir Henry Morgan's Rum keeps flowing so we might as well keep celebrating, eh?

I am approaching a monumental milestone in my career as a trader in Avonmora. I am about to reach 1,000 captains! I believe there have been a few famous sailors who have reached such an accomplishment by using voodoo bought with credits but I have chosen to acquire them with raw gold (be it purchasing captains or paying gold for bribes).

I began in Avonmora as a humble landlubber in September of 2010. It would be many years before it came to be known as 'Avonmora' but I had big dreams for my place in the world. There was a fierce battle on the old server which is now closed (more on that story another time) but once it concluded I turned my attention to trade and how I would build my trading empire. Reaching 1,000 captains has been almost exactly 6 years in the making... others have done it faster than I but I am happy to join them finally.

I am curious... who are the players who have reached 1000 captains?

I was fairly certain SGT Blue and Xepshunall had reached 1,000 captains but I just checked and they have less than 700. They may have received some assassins although not likely 300+. They were some of the first voodoo gods so I believed they had used their gold and credits on bribes.

Now I'm not sure if it has been done before... Is anyone willing to share their captain count above 1,000?
