Drunk Captain

Rare
Turns: 12
Stackable 2
Duration: 24 hours
Affects 40% of targets Trade route Fleets (random)

There is a rum party going on. Your captain is drunk and does not know how to navigate at sea.
Causes your fleets to go to random ports (Cannot go twice to the same resource production port), buying and selling resources as usual. Will he profit, will he not, nobody knows.
Instead of bringing something down, add to it to make it better.

This card would be fun to use and a real laugh. There was a voodoo suggested a while ago that did a similar thing but I forget the details of it.
If it didn't pollute the existing card market, I would give it a +1. If there was a voodoo removed like Flood, also a +1

This is weird, slightly surreal and very silly : so, it gets my vote :)

Could cost you a lot should your captain accidentally sail from St. Martins to Akrotri instead of Pania.

That's the point.

Added fun if user is drunk when casting?

sorry for double posting

also
It might take some of the fun out of it, but if you were being at all realistic the affected ships would probably incur some sort of damage

I agree that some dmg should apply to this as well. Great suggestion. Just add 25% dmg to fleet.

+1

Technically it does. You lose in net profitability, you may still gain coin, but your daily net profit takes a loss.

Mine wouldn't. My pirate crews would probably enjoy a druken joy ride across Avonmora, as long as plundering ensues after the voyage.

+1

It is a nice addition if you think of this card as a counter to (slightly old, or at least pre-casting Drunk Captain) Trade Master/spy reports. I can see this being cast for fun, for offense, and for defense, which is nice.

...With a little more thought, I wonder if the card should be "Drunk Navigator" or "Drunk Officers," as the captain being drunk may not steer the ship to a different port.
