Ahoy mateys! Following King Kart's example, I have decided to recruit Captains for all my ships. Therefore, I invite all players, old or new; merchants, pirates or privateers; bankers or gold dealers; nobles, military class or common men; former foes or friendly allies. Send me Captains to sail in my ships. You can rest assured that they will be well taken care of!

And you shall not go unrewarded! For every Captain you send to me with your bribe card, you shall receive 2 Million gold coins! For a new player, this is a huge sum of gold - worth 200 howkers or 32 Large Merchantmen or for the one who likes a bit of plunder, a new Brig of War lvl 9 or half the deposit for a spanking new fully-equipped Frigate. And for a seasoned veteran with plenty of Captains for me, the gold be good enough to fill your coffers. From my rudimentary calculations, any player with less than 290 ships would gain more from this offer than by using his bribe card on himself. This would be the vast majority of players in Avonmora.

All I need are more Captains, I have plenty of other crew working in my ships. But if luck beseech you and you end up with an admiral or merchant when casting your bribe card on me, fear not. I shall not let you go empty handed. I shall send you off with 500,000 gold coins and words of encouragement - better luck next time!

So mateys, start recruiting today! And send as many as you like! You can be sure that I have enough gold to buy all the bribes that you send my way and that I be as good as my word to keep my part of the bargain. 8-)

After some thought, I have decided to raise the offer for admirals and merchants to 750,000 gold coins. This gives more value to the offer with regards to those two officers. I would rather have raised the offer for captains by the same difference though. Those who have already sent me bribes should receive the difference to their bank soon. For those interested in how I arrived at this amount you can look at the figures below. If not, you can skip the rest and go to the part where you send me your bribes.




I mentioned that the offer is good for those with under 290 ships. This was in regard to captains. After further calculations, I find that the figure is lower with regards to admirals(39 which translates to 195 ships). Below are the numbers I got...
2M for captains - 292 ships
500k for admirals - 39 => 195
500k for merchants - 63 => 315
750k for admirals - 52 => 260
750k for merchants - 82 => 410

So, the new offer is good for those with less than 260 ships. I am assuming, of course, that the player will get the same officer whether he casts it on me or himself.

I have decided to restart this offer. The offer now is 2 million gold coins for every successful Bribe card cast on me Captain Da Vinci(#12701), whatever officer I get.
