Do you have an idea for a card ? Do you want a tweak on existing voodoo cards? Perhaps you even want one of them removed? This is where you can post your suggestion.

Voodoo is too weak, and barely vulnerable. No one is just gonna be casting a ton of these on every ship on Port Gossip just to see if there is gold.

lol the voodoo itself doesnt need to be strong like a mindbar. it leads to more opportunity, e.g. "this guy's gold fleet is named 'NOT A GOLD FLEET' lets see where its going" trade master etc

and there currently exists voodoo that does less than this. "enlightened vision" does not do a whole lot but its still useful for some purposes

i can see this card being used as the deciding factor for rotten food to be cast, remaining +1 from me

I think the current 'loss-risks' of moving gold bars are already tipped on the heavy side : this card, whilst nice for those hunting such shipments, moves the scale enough to discourage shipments so is ultimately self-defeating : it would certainly rule out engaging in port-to-port trade, which is marginal enough already unless you spend hours on end manually tweaking routes.

Lets try to avoid the rather boring tendency to try and kill the Golden Geese in the vain hope they will somehow produce more eggs.
