Just the purse, card would be way too overpowered if it was allowed to take money out of the ground or banks.

No, it would only take from the purse, but the 1M could be calculated based on total gold. So if player has 900k in purse but 100M in the banks/buried, you can still collect.

Player has 100K in purse and 950K in banks/buried, you can still collect until total gc is below 1M.

Player has 500K in purse and 400K in banks/buried, you can't collect as total gc is below 1M.

Good point. I'd love to have this as a pirate but I know people with 1000 ships their gold would go down to zero fairly quickly. 200 fleets arriving in a port every hour losing 2 million an hour. 2 million an hour isn't that much with the person with the most ships. maybe have the limit knocked down to 200K. It's not like this curses is approved or anything.

I complained about suggestions favoring traders in another thread. However, if the limit in this card is too low, it would be too advantageous for pirates. I think 1M is a nice limit. Then the card could even be uncommon, I think - not rare. But if the limit was the players total gold? We'd drain the traders ship in one, big swoop. That's simply IMPOSSIBLY strong.
