that you for nit picking on my exact words rather than the point i am making.

moving to less protection is not the way to go. finding a balance of protection is key. making it more protection in a guild is good in my opinion. everyone can join one and get the same protection, even pirates. making it less protection in guilds just makes them less relevant

i think less protection from guilds is good, it teaches people that they dont always get to get off for free because they are a member of a big guild. responsiility is something they should learn instead of thinking they always have a fall back

Then why do we have guilds? let's remove them from the game and make everyone a solo player that is even better

I think that is one of the dumbest comments I have ever heard in this game...

Guilds are an important tool within the game. Guilds allow players with similar interests to come together, regardless of nationality. This is particularly useful for different playing styles. The current structuring of Guilds however should be updated. They are currently too open ended. Guilds should be specific to playing type.

hahaha. funny. want to know the difference between our guilds? In HELM, we protect each other when someone attacks for no reason. When a pesky pirate like you casts 8 Leviathans on my MoW for no reason, we stick together. I protect members and in turn members protect me. If someone causes problems on their own and digs themselves into a hole, the guild won't necessarily bail them out. There is responsibility for you. Don't start none, won't be none. But when you get to a guild like yours, you feel left out and alone because it is nothing compared to the team at HELM. So stop whining about your personal problems and trying to pin them on someone else. Man up and deal with your own problems instead of trying to make everyone else face them so you can feel better.

Most are specific around playing style already. There are couple guilds who like and promote fight also there are couple of them who promote trade and training. With this improvment guilds would be upgraded and would provide higher security but it doesn't sit right to couple players whom wanna play as pirates and find being pirate too hard. Well being pirate was always considered hard job and CJ mentioned in one of the topics that because it was hard in the past we can only rememeber only couple names

That is true, but the guild could just change it's tactics on a whim, it's open ended and at the discretion of the Guild Leaders. Hard coding Guilds to a particular playing style would allow you to implement playing style specific game development to the Guilds. So when a guild is created, you could choose the type of guild you want to create that would enable specific features and rules to apply to the guild.
