(Rare) Voodoo Idea, Bleeding Sea

Do you have an idea for a card ? Do you want a tweak on existing voodoo cards? Perhaps you even want one of them removed? This is where you can post your suggestion.

All fleet of target player loses 1000*X gc when ever they arrive to a port.

Where X is the number of crew members in total in the fleet.

This is useful to lower a semi active player's gc.

Seems excessive. What happens if the player doesn't have enough money in their purse to cover the cost.

Seems like it can be defeated easily for being a rare card.

OK, so with a minumum crew of 5 in each of 5 ships, that's 25k lost. This card is EXTREMELY powerful when it comes to emptying a players treasury, and thus steal his ships. If this card ever comes into play, the number of ships stolen will rise to absurd hights. As it is today, the problem when stealing ships is to empty the targets treasury. And the hardest part is those last 30-50k (unless target has a battle fleet). With this card, stealing that last bit will become much easier.

And what with a battle fleet with full crews? Suddenly you lose almost 1M when entering port. With some decent planning and timing, this card can be used to empty the treasury and steal a targets battle fleet when it reaches port.

Perhaps it SHOULD be easier to steal ships, I guess that's a matter of taste. Yet, even if one thinks that is the case, a card like this will make it TOO easy, in my opinion. In fact, I think it would be too powerful even if it targeted a single fleet, not to mention ALL his fleet, as the suggestion states.

I agree with Haron. And the line, "It is useful to lower a semi active player's gc" makes it worse- they might not have any time to respond. Combine this with terrorize and blacklist, and they have little ways to turn for gold coins. They log on and all of their attack fleet has been plundered.

If you haven't noticed it yet I edited it to only 1 fleet a few hours ago.

Edited the object to cast.

Here is the finale maybe product, I edited the duration too.

Lowering the duration doesn't help much. This is a card that will be used "just in time" anyway. With such a card, trading would become very difficult. You'd more or less have to watch your fleet all the time, or it's gone. At least that's what I fear. Let's say you runn howkers with full crew. That's 150k gold lost. I think something that removes that much gold from a treasury makes it way too easy to steal ships.

The stated aim of easing the capture of an inactives fleets is nonsense : by definition an inactive player has no fleets moving as they will stop trading 7 days after last log-in : so none will ever enter a port as none will ever be travelling. This card can only target an active player with moving fleets.

Yes, it works for everyone, I didn't say it doesn't work for everyone, I just say its go for semi-actives because they will go offline for a long time as in a few days only go online again.
