my grandfather had several sayings, that to this day I remember. one of his best ones was when it comes to politicians you don't vote for whos the best for the job, you vote for whoever is the best liar. that's my second favorite quote of his. the best quote he ever made was the smarter people get the dumber they get,

and honestly politicians and big businesses are often hand in hand, you cant trust any of them really. Michael Moore once talked with the president of Nike Phil Knight(former president now) and asked him to open a factory in Flint so americans can work, he said he doesn't think americans would want to make shoes, so Moore asked if he could find 500 people in flint who would make shoes would he open it, guy said sure, moore gets plenty of people needing jobs saying they would make shoes, guy says"i still don't think they want to make shoes" and doesn't open a factory. he also refused to go to indionesia with moore after he offered a free trip there so he could explain to moore the factory conditions there. honestly people like that make me lose faith in humanity

the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. my father told me a story of some rich guy, his son who was just a child(no older then 10) was kidnapped, they asked for a good chunk of money that the father could afford and still be rich he said no. they chopped off one of his fingers sent it to him, he said no and this repeated till the kid had no fingers, then they threatened to chop off his willy, finally the father paid the ransom. I don't recall most of the facts, I was pretty small at the time, who knows maybe my dad made the story up but I think it was a true story. then again he once told me he ran over Blitzen and santa wasn't going to be able to deliver presents that year. of course that was a joke(but he did accidentally run over a deer that day, its where he got the idea.)

in my opinion the people who were not born rich and become rich generally are good people or at the very least can sympathize with the poor(take bill gates he wasn't born rich and he is a generally good guy) while people born rich who never work a day in their life end up as scum(paris Hilton). also mack the moral of the story wasn't don't let pride kill you, it was people are terrible . but seriously the father didn't suffer the kid did. I have a metric ton of stories my father told me that serve great morals.

I was ramble but I had this story my father told me once. I had a little girl but she was small at the time, who knows maybe I'm just a troll. I don't recall most of the facts, but I wasn't going to be able to delivers presents that year. There is no chance I am older than 13 but they chopped off my willy cause i was a stupid one, of course.
