I can get the point Loki. it could be worked with percent. lvl 1 goldsmith 10% lost from value. 10 lvl goldsmith 50% lost from value. That could help in both sides. The side of a player wanting to refund his money so he invest them somewhere else and the side to protect the game from someone that upgrade buildings just to stash his gold. don't forget that to build a goldsmith lvl 10 you need 500 credits. for a lvl 10 bank you need 1000 credits. it's quite lot of credits to lose also. credits are real money. time and turns you spended is calculated in progress. the risk would be rly big if you lose tones of gold also. i think the percent option would keep a balance to this situation. :)

CJ, how about some sliding scale return based on risk-- so lets say max return is 25% of coin for lvl1 then each additional level depreciates this by 2.5%, thus 22.5% lvl 2, 20% lvl 3 etc etc this would ensure players think carefully before investing, it prevents the buildings being used as a safe haven for cash etc and seems a little fairer to players that have made an error of judgement and want to clear what they consider to be a wasted space.

It would have to be for a lower price, deterioration and such. But why would you want to? The game does warn you of the cost of building a hideout and progressing it.

70% initial cost.

Why not, a player could have purchased an building or upgrade and determine that they needed a different upgrade or building first. Not everyone has oodles of gc.

I never had nor need a sugar daddy. You can go shove it. It's a legitimate suggestion. Why sell your ships? You can make oodles of gc and just pay for more and more officers and fleets and ships.

I like your response Danik to the request Stan Rogers linked above. I guess you have changed your mind.
