Why hire MERCs? You can just hire Danik and LT to subvert entire nations to the point where those that were involved in the initial conflict are not longer part of the nation.

Personally, I do not trust the MERC's to do any work for me since Spain once hired them and they returned erroneous information, at least 3 days after a simple request, took a huge sum for the service and then provided faulty info.

Since you chose to reveal the information yourself, I shall consider the confidentiality agreement null and void.

Spain received exactly what was promised exacted when it was promised. It is not my fault that your target wanted you to have the information in the first place. Nor that he chose to change his setup after being scouted.

As for the time limit. I told the Spainard we dealt with the exact time range to expect, and it was kept to the letter. I suggest you talk to him about any delays in Intel or lack of keeping you in the loop. Or maybe you are in the loop. and are just salty about the results your gold fruited. Remember, the only results promised are those in the contract. Any mercenary in my guild who breaks a contract will not be in it much longer. You can message the guild leadership if something like that occurs and you will be reimbursed. However, we will not pay you back for your own stupidity

Lastly, you can be assured that we will not be accepting jobs from Spain in the future. Also we will probably be inclined to plunder and accept jobs against a nation that speaks against our professionalism which we pride ourselves on.

And maybe we have been hired : who knows.. after all, not all mercenaries in this game stand on the street corner offering their wares to all and sundry who pass by : I can think of several folk who will undertake a discrete and efficient service without any publicity. Daniel and LT are the better choice. I personally do not like the tactic of inflitrating nations and tearing them apart. For this reason the T'zak have avoided jobs of this nature.

However, remember we can also be hired for defense. I have no problem with my guild joining a nation to secure it's hierarchy. My guild outnumbers and outguns any potential saboteurs on the waters. A flag is just a flag and my entire guild flying a flag for some time would not be too much trouble.

I dont think King TheLoveTiger's administration needs securing : the rebellious elements of the former oligarchy might need help.

There would be their slight difficulty in paying you, being as their former funds are now scattered to other nations or locked into closed banks : the national treasury wont offer up much either, I wont insult you by assuming you would work that cheap, or for promises. Sensible option, and it always was, was for the new leadership to accept their guilds responsibilities and agree a peace and bear the cost of it : alas, they seemed to think it was they who deserved the compensation and income of two new ports for their troubles.

Aye.. no doubt there be perks however unfortunately, your customer is no longer around and a potential new revenue stream is lost as well in further Spanish work.
It cannot be good for Tzak's reputation when the employer loses the war.
You may have to get someone like Cappy to manage your ad campaign. He was very good at that sort of thing.
