Dialogue with guild master in that case!
Plundering him, because, he is already on plunder screen. Not bulling him with voodoo, or putting bounty on him.

Btw, you haven't told me, what are you thinking about picture I posted. Who can I skirmish? ;)

It looks awesome our flag is sexy but it's not invite here have what you want. You all ask respect without giving any. Attacking isn't only way to fill purse there is also trading, missions give huge rewards now, loans are available. When I joined and took loan I paid it of with huge intressts and now I am offering loqns to new player on rates which would one consider gifts. 2nd thing NPC are awesome income aswell I earned my first 2 M just by hitting them. So there are more neutral ways to earn than his avt of going rampage on our fleets. But that is role of the guild to show them.

P.S. we are always open for dialouge but that dialouge need to come before someone pulled the trigger or you consider that we need talk while we get attacked that is stupid strategy, we also learned how to value DPs and he wasn't worth of them even though I attacked him after that.

I am not a fan of skirmish... so, I have 72 unspent skirmishes as many of Avonmora citisens. :) Maybe you can talk with administration to make skirmish and plunder illegal and forbidden and getting loans, trading and fishing make the only way for filling purse. ;)
Maybe agriculture and animal husbandry could be useful too...

Nope, of course not... you are totally right to put bounty on players (it is a part of the game), but Kart never again can talk about himself as a proud and moral person... because it's a way, but not a moral way to do things. :)

OK. I have to say this. I have had my fair share of being attacked and skimirished. I have found that most player can be reasoned with one way on or the other.

Now here is the thing, this is a PIRATE game! It is natural for the victim to try to stop or retaliate, whether bounty or otherwise. What Kart is saying is simply similar to what any nation has done across history to fight piracy.

I cannot say in terms of the game if it is excessive or not, that is yet to be seen.
We cannot really stop Kart from doing that but to be fair he should expect others to treat him the same way.
If SSTG or Bermuda are found guilty of excessive attacks, then countermeasures are expected to follow.
This can go on for a very long time until dialogue solves the issue.

If I may add a suggestion to Kart, as an addendum, you may want to add the point where " Peaceful talks/resolutions with the assailant have failed to achieve their purpose". I think dialogue comes first, then show of power, then more dialogue.

I have found that mutual agreements and guidelines can be established that way.

Thank you Phoenix Knight, I will say this once and only once as I feel I have nothing to defend myself for.

We try to talk to people who attack us first. In the case of the new player who attacked our nation over twenty times (I have no anger with this person in fact I kind of like the guy) I sent two letters which went unanswered. We waited a reasonable time before doing anything. It was after we had placed the voodoo that he contacted me. We did not put his ships in danger (this was part of our plan) we just slowed him down a little to let him think about actions coming for actions you do. What others outside our guild don't understand is we talk to a lot of people who skirmish us, we even congratulate them on good attacks. We keep dialogue open for all who would like to talk. We have even done things to prevent problems with new players which I will not mention here because people will want to take advantage of the things we do.

History shall be our judge.

Also, I never claimed any moral superiority over anyone else. If that claim/accusation has been put on me it was by those I have dealt with not me. I am just a player like everyone else.

If you are really interested in finding out more of our motivations or why we do things you would send a letter instead of venting here so you can get attention. I wish everyone well and I hope we do not have to place bounties on you.

Actually that is not bad idea those are awesome way to improve the game.

Moral is something what differes from person to the person. Serial killer will say that it is moral for them to kill people. If it is not moral for someone to stand for himself than yes I agree we are people without of moral. And I believe that I am not right person to talk about Karts moral, I can only talk about my moral.

Just remember the way, you posted in ''The Rehabilitation of Sir Roberts''... sorry, but I see you as a player who emphasizes its high moral standards. I don't say they are not high and respectable, nope, but in case you put bounty on a newbie??? Not so high, not any more!
Btw, I see your words (about seeking attention) are addressed to me. Yep, I am seeking attention, because this is a thread that has to be seen and read!

The tides are changing, rapidly.

Can I declare war on a "terror" guild.
