It is stated that the US vs Spain. However, it was the GUILD not the nation as a whole.

Thats fine : if the new leadership chooses to ignore the old leaderships aggression towards other nations then they can hardly complain if peace is not forthcoming from such quarters.

Probably be useful then to approach all the nations and guilds attacked by your nation under its former leadership and enquire as to how best to approach a peaceful solution.

Until then, I see no reason to trust the new leadership anymore than the old which also spoke of peace and non-aggressive intent, whilst it paid others to wield the knife and disclaimed all culpability.

I just received a promise from Rothschild yesterday that he would be casting more hostile voodoo on me. I'm gearing up for joining the war on Spain's behalf based on Rothschild's actions. I'm not planning on changing course until I get more info and an agreement from USA besides this 'blanket statement'.

I don't have any great loyalty to the nation of Spain but I am strongly against the current USA's policy of taking all ports, decide who gets them and push around mercenaries and neutral parties.

I appreciate an answer but none is required since I am already set on course to fight.

If Spain were to attack the USA, we would be forced to defend ourselves using all means available. Do not mistake a desire to end hostility as weakness. The only beneficiaries of war are those not involved in the war and the mercenaries.

I have stepped in to broker a peace. Anyone who shares similar desires would give it a chance to be reached before provoking yet another escalation to conflict.

A nation is at war and well other than the important persons (i guess) did not know. A statement is made in the forum and thats it. Everything else is confidential.

As of now I am not going to attack anyone from Spain or the USA. However, anyone who cast voodoo* on me should expect retaliation. I am not apart of this war and will not be.
