Do we have to wear silly shorts and a floppy sun hat on St Karts day too?

I think it's like wearing something orange on Halloween, or something green on St. Patrick's Day, red for Christmas, or eating a specific dish on Thanksgiving, Xmas, Easter... No one really HAVE TO, but...

Yes +1. And just so everyone knows,I was the recipient of the first ever gift on st karts day, given by the holidays namesake. The only one as far as i know .

I would like to also say, I do not find Kart Memorial day to be a suitable name for such an occasion.
