Back on topic, my proposal is
- Daughters leave the Romance Stories list if their romance relationship is <1% at day's end;
- Daughters can be kicked from the Romance Stories list (for, say, 3 Turns cost);
- either way they then have to be re-wooed from the beginning.

Once you have met them there is no reason to lose the 1%.. its like getting your foot in the door. I would get irritated if I had to sneak in again just to remember if they are "plain" or "exquisite". I think you should have to start all over again though on a divorce

if you ignore the girl to the extent of forgetting what she 'looks' like then it's quite likely that she would have forgotten you as well so naturally you'd need to sneak in again
