Attacks, skirmishes and voodoo are all parts of the game, all can be used legally, but one must always take into account the possible retaliation.
Every action has a reaction
SSTG, as an example, has the very well known 3-hit-limit, which means no member is allowed to attack any other player more than 3 times within 24 hours (unless permission is granted under special circumstances). This is not to be nice, this is to protect our guild of retaliation. For the same reason, no un-authorized voodoo is permitted. This is not a game of hit-and-run, because you will always be found and held responsible.
Summary; everything you can do with game mechanisms is legal to the admins, but the nobles, merchants and pirates of Avonmora will hold you responsible for both your words and actions.
Always judge what you do with both your rational sense and your moral. It does not matter how much voodoo you got, how many 60-points MoW's you have stolen, how much influence you are maintaining, how much fame you have accumulated, how much gold you have earned, how many captains you have invested in, the only thing you have in Avonmora is your word and your comrades
