Gunpowder

I don't know if anyone post this before hand.

This is how it works, gunpowderImage Image is a new material in the game, and we will need new ports for this to work. Gunpowder is used when ever someone attacks someone else in that port(If you attack someone in a gunpowder port it will auto buy the gunpowder to attack), that port will need to have gunpowder stored in the warehouse to be able to attack someone in that port.

This will require pirates to transport the material to the target port for them to be able to attack the person in the port, this will create players/pirates to plan their attacks. And not just attack when ever they want.

Traders will be a bit more safer, and it will be more harder for pirates. And not just cast hostile natives and poof he can attack.

I was thinking that it would cost between 4 to 6 around that, per crate.

It will be a lot to make for the dev, but i think this will change a lot of things(new port and new material).

Its a nice idea : but I tend to think that the daily upkeep cost for cannon is already a kind of payment for consumables associated with them : shot, powder and fuses : also, unless its very very expensive or sued in vast amounts per raid : then it wont take a lot of effort to stockpile supplies in most ports ready to be used as needed.

the section of the player-base who would be most disadvantaged by it would be new players, who havent yet built up their infrastructure in each port nor have the spare ship capacity to devote to stock-piling it : I think the fewer restrictions on new players having fun learning the battle rules and strategies, the better... but its good you are thinking on the game and making suggestions, so dont be disheartened if reaction is not always positive.

The game is based on pirates and its in the gunpowder age, it will be nice to see a new material(gunpowder) in the game.

I kind of think thats a good thought.. it would make people work together.. make it where the nation can stock pile for the officers of the nation can deligate plans of use.. telling people where and when to move the powder maybe citizens can donate powder for the cause... ive never really even noticed the cost of upkeep for cannons honestly and you have to maintain weapons all the time like cleaning and repairing.. thats what i thoyght ypkeep was for
