Anyone know a good ship to have a war fleet

Hi just started i got two level 10 sloop and one level 3 sloop of war is this a good start for a war fleet or do i need to change this around.

Welcome to PG, you will be having a lot of fun!

If you just started, I don't advice you to rush war fleets just yet, try to stabilish a nice income from trading fleets but, if after saying this, you still want me to answer your question: for a new player, that isn't a bad "war" fleet. You can plunder some merchant ships with those bad boys over there. But remember: each atack gives you +6 danger rating.

Like wazz said don't rush with war fleet but war fleet with which you can start and do few hits would be sloops so I would recommend sell that sloop of war and build another sloop

Selling the sloop sounds like a logical idea but since we now got loans, I advice you to keep the sloop of war and instead get a loan to afford a lvl 10 sloop. So:
1.Seek a 300k loan (500k sounds a better amount)
2.Build a lvl 10 sloop

The merchant way is slower but you will make more in the long run. Also read this: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1478

I got a trade fleet with two one level 10 howker and a level 2 and merchantman level 4 and large merchantman level 2 is that good for a trade fleet?

For trade fleets it's best to stay cheap. As a new player I recommend only buying and using howkers. It's also not necessary to raise their level unless your on long routes and need higher attributes.

Build lvl 1 howkers and set them to trade between tzogos and tortuga for the best profit. Base crew and cotton sails on trade route time. Try to keep your trips at 1 hour travel times each way to keep danger down.
