pirate ports

add a few ports in game that are controlled by pirates only, that has no government or tax income but instead have increased sales for trades good. the ports would be open pvp/ plunder for any fleets that are heading to that port and none pvp/plunder for fleets that are leaving. no goods can be bought at pirate ports only sold for double the price for double the risk. this would add more for pirates and traders who love to take risk.

2nd option add challange port where a player can make a staked battle only at that port. like a battle arena. player setups up the battle rules. what ships can be used what lvl's how much gold to wager and so on. then other players can accept or make there own tournament. it would cost ea player 10 turns to use the arena and the game would charge 10% of the total wager as a fee from the winner.

Nice idea.
But I think the administrator is going to inrtoduce this and much more, in a new pack of things called Laws System, where any nation will be able to control their own economy by setting their specialized monetary policies, tolerance to criminals, etc.
As Pirates do count as nations, they can have ports if some pirate guy has the greatest influence at a port. So, the introduction of a separate only pirate port is not the norm right now; you gotta work for it if you want it. Da laws system isn't implemented yet, but we do believe it would be implemented, if possible, sometime in the future.

PS: I'm no admin. This was the reply I was given to my own similar queries, okay? So pls don't think I'm guaranteeing or talking for the developers. Their word is subject to chagne without a momen't notice, as they say.

Lol, Psychodad. Some extra laws have been implemented, but not the full system of laws I was expecting. Besides, the admin did tell us he'll implement the thing within a month. And that was...I don't remember how long ago. :(
...But wait, I'm talking as if I have a role in all these...which I don't. So, the above smilie is meaningless.

I like the sound of the first suggestion - very much the idea of a free port.

I'm just happy you're making sure everything is getting done within a reasonable time frame and that CJ has such conscientious supervisor.

i just think if we had an open pvp area where ppl don't have to rely on voodoo all the time to light some one up cause everyone hides.. open world pvp/ or at least a few zones of the game that are pvp all the time would give more Balance to the hole pirate theme. ppl are more likely to spend real money and stay if they can enjoy a f2p game that;s fun and peaks interest. more battles there is the more turns that get bought and more wars start. or even have random 3 ports that are pvp zone each time the 3 day update happens. and this still gives the trade side of the game safe places as all ports would not be full pvp. now if the merchant dont move his fleets from that port on update cause he is inactive that's his loss! if u wanted that merchant that has 100 ships entering the same safe port u would have to light him/her on fire with voodoo.

ppl keep telling me the dev's this the dev's that. they need more money etc. if you need more money get off your rear and make the game interesting put in the hard work to make the hard cash, put those ideas to reality. one more points this game is mostly html with few plugins and links etc how hard is it to code? ww3schools.com. u can even put your code in and test it and it tells u where the errors or miss spelling is, and lots of other things and its free!!! I'M not trying to make anyone made but i have taken some html in college and it don't take 2 years to add adjustments. 1 to 2 weeks is a good project/idea time the beta test it for a few days. the things u can do with simple notepad and online Resources. most games these days are built with free game building engines like Unity etc etc etc.

open pvp areas would cause more battles. players would buy more turns and since there s more battles players are more inclined to use more voodoo to defend whats there's or to take whats not there's!!!

Can you expect players to support something that's boring or buy lots of stuff if its not little fun when they first start?

also add a google play credits payment option as your game is advertised on google web store!!!

just got another idea from a friend. all fleets going to the open pvp port info would be like skirmish where u cant see what ships are in it. basic a better option then having skirmish in game as the port would have double sell prices ppl would have to pick better fleets to defend going in and out of the port

it is a nice idea. Hitting fleets in an open area seemes nice, but I think the number of ships should be limited. I mean, there are thousands of Inactive player fleets. maybe the player should be given a choice regarding which fleets are to be in the open...but otherwise, its a good idea.

And, as a completely unrealted agreement, w3schools.com is very good website for learning computer languages, espescailly those related to webdesigning,
but I think this game rather needs a bit more of pictures and graphics, as I have said elsewhere, to trigger imagination, rather than just make us assume whatever we happen to assume or more kinds of gameplays (sometimes, your imagination might kick in and help you get real good images, but if not, you're stuck with something of low quality...I mean, not everybody has great imagination all the time).

While an interesting thought, there are other points of development that need to be done before this is even a consideration. As well, there are more detailed versions of a similar type.
