New Card Abilities: Flip Coin & Piercing

Hi all,

We have decided to add two new card abilities:

1.Flip Coin
This curse has a 50% chance of success

This is already active in some cards (ie Duplicate). We will replace the 50% text with the ability name. This will allow greater understanding and flexibility.

2.Piercing
Curse reduces barrier resistance by 50%

The only barrier resistance in the game right now is Mindbar. This will change as time passes as more ways to resist voodoo cards will be added. For now, this will mean that Mindbar which offers 75% resistance will be half (37.5%) for cards that have Piercing. This will allow cards with Piercing to land easier.

We are thinking to use Piercing ability to underused cards which however can be crucial. Check announcements for more ideas

Would "Pierce the Veil" sound more like magick?

Not certain. Perhaps more can voice their opinion if the name is right. Ability names should be self-explanatory and this is the primary objective.
