Has Porates become the official new spelling for Pirates? I have been seeing it a feww too many times, really. Maybe it also helps that "I" and "O" are adjacent keys in qwerty keyboards. Glad that spellings Change these days too.

I have nothing to say except:

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We pillage plunder, we rifle and loot.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
We kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We extort and pilfer, we filch and sack.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
Maraud and embezzle and even highjack.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We kindle and char and in flame and ignite.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
We burn up the city, we're really a fright.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.

We're rascals and scoundrels, we're villians and knaves.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
We're devils and black sheep, we're really bad eggs.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.

We're beggars and blighters and ne'er do-well cads,
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
Aye, but we're loved by our mommies and dads,
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.

I guess wherever porates is used, it means TPR guild...

Only people who have actually mattered in terms of the development of the social structure of the game should actually be interviewed. I think it'd be interesting for the sake of preserving history to interview the players who have been here since the start, near start, or pre-start. Capt.D and Black Sparrow were here before there was voodoo and mohammed I think was too. There are plenty of Pre-Avonmora (people here before the server world had a name and voted/suggested names) still here and those are the people that might matter enough for an interview also. I think the Majesty's rise to power would be a very good interview and I think interviewing players like Black Sparrow about inactive players who used to be a big deal (Skyhawk, SGT Blue, 1 other voodoo god whose name escapes me, he fought SGT Blue). This way the history of the game is accounted for. Skyhawk for example is a major part of the current war tactics that are now considered basic but at the time of creation, were top secret wonders. SGT Blue and other guy i forget were crucial in funding the game through their excessive voodoo wars. For anyone currently in PK, look way back in your forums and you can see how things have changed. That's just my 2 cents though.

Danger of interviews just turning into walks down Memory Lane that way, Roi : I'm a history buff so it would be of interest, but to most players currently here, pretty marginal stuff, I'd imagine. Plus, as one old tutor once told me : 'Today's news is tomorrow's history, so read that as well and get ahead start!'
