Turn exchange Options

Postby Roberts » Sun Apr 26, 2015 11:58 am

So then there is 5 Options already how to get turns which is the following :
4 Credits for 50 Turns
10 Credits For 100 Turns
25 Credits for 200 Turns
Earn 1+ turn every 10 mins
Turn count up to 400...

I think another option for turns could be added : Half Turn time so instead of every 10 mins , every 5 mins lets say a cost of 25 Credits , Within a day of this you could get 288 Turns... Which you would need to buy turn count up to 400 to do this as well, more cost of credits...

Opinions?...

I see what you are saying mate. But 25 credits to earn 288 turns,i could have 150 turns and use 25 credits to buy 200
turns.Don't you think thats easier.

You seem to have missed the existing option for 'double turns' @ 15 credits per 2 days : it's just above the 'double turn storage' option, bottom right of the page where you buy turns.

Giving more turn options for advanced players is potentially dangerous. We are not ready to take such risks.

In the contrary, for newcomers, it is mandatory. Therefore, we have added an extra option for newcomers (players with less than 2000 turns) where they will be able to get extra turns for credits, once.

We also want to add an extra option for the to get turns. A way that will include other players. A method which will only be available to players that have spent perhaps up to 5000 turns (that's about a 1 month active player). Perhaps this way could also make newcomers potentially important for veteran players.

If you get any worthwhile ideas, please share.

If we want to be exact, then this is how it goes:

Code: Select all
First 3 days = (144 * 2 ) * 3 + 225 (about the total of newcomer bonuses)= 1114
Rest 27 days = 27 * 144 = 3888
Total 30 days = 5002

I don't necessarily see this as a bad suggestion. What I see is an suggestion that should have been thought out more.

I find it incredibly annoying that I don't reach the default maximum earned storage (200) in a single day (24hr period). By default you don't earn enough turns in a day (144) to build a SOTL (cost 145 turns).

To really take advantage of Double Turns (288 turns per day), you need to use Double Storage (Earn up to 400 turns for storage), otherwise it is not worth the credits.

Where I think this suggestion is an issue is that in combination with this existing Double Turns and Double Storage, Half Turn Time would make a player earn a whopping 576 turns per 24 hour period and basically be Quadrupling Turns. Yes this is some serious turns and definitely overkill.

Now, where the suggestion does give point is that it is on the right path. Double Turn and Double Storage even both being used together are lacking.

What I think this should lead is more inline of Triple Turns.

In summation Every 10 minutes you earn 3 turns, but it doesn't just add 3 turns every 10 minutes. It adds 1 turn every 5 minutes on top of the normal 1 turn every 10 times. With Triple Turns a player would earn 432 Turns in a day, making Double Storage very useful. The key would be limitation in it's use. You can't have Double Turns and Triple Turns active at the same time. And there would need to be a cool down between uses such as limiting it to once per Double Storage activation or every 7 days (those are actually different even though Double Storage runs for 7 Days). As well costs would need to be considerable, like 40-45 credits.

Thoughts?

Re: [Review] Turn exchange Options

Postby PFH » Sat Dec 01, 2018 1:36 am

I am for an option for this, however i say it should cost 55 as the purchasing rates for turns are more than 100% starting from the bottom up, as 4 turns gets you 50, 10 gets you 100, and 25 gets you 200. If you started out early and used it, there is a one time use for 100 for 1000 turns.

In which case i believe that the 100 for 1000 turn convertion should be available to a player 1 time every 30 days after a use. If this can be considered. If you bought this at 600turns, you would only gain 400 turns with a max of 1000 only with this purchase only. Using this also means no buying turns for 24 hours for other conversion options.

Other than this i like your idea dez.
