Nice calculations, JR : does assume the base sotl is a 46 : which for me is a keeper, but mostly, half the sotls built will fall well below that mark. Taking the theoretical maximum possible to be a 51 and the minimum to be a 36; the rough middle of the att range is 43 : so, one has to add in a rarity value to a 46 or better as well.

Thank you Danik , it is even better if you plunder a 55 attribute ship of the line , which i am sure many people know i have done of Lion Heart which he came back , and was not a " Happy Chappy " About it... I am sure you have picked up a few good Ship Of The Lines in the past , as have i...

Well the minimum does not really occur that much... The lowest attribute i have got for a frigate is 38 i think, the highest is 48 i believe which was in my Fast And Furious Fleet which i am sure some people remember...

To be honest it all depends on the attribute gods and what they decide to give... Yes very true so really the Ship Of The Line can be worth as much as the player wants in my opinion i would not let it go for under 40 Million gold coins or 400 Credits at the very least... I myself can not afford 40 million gold coins just like that , or 400 credits just like that : But it is a good investment for someone to put into...

I am sure other great Sotls will come into action maybe even large frigates ect..

My stock response to previous queries about selling such a vessel was to say '500 credits' and not be too concerned if the answer was 'wtf?'. But a thing is worth what folk are willing to pay for it and only then if there are folk willing to sell it at that price : thus the market price emerges for future sales to be guided by.

I know what you are going to do danik... ;)

Let the buyer grab the 60 attribute ship of the line :: You get 10 call levitation's then use the levs to sink the ship of
the line , you get the credits and get to entertainment! lol is this true?

That would be mean , evil, cruel, nasty, vindictive and.... rather fun!

But bad for repeat business so, all sales will be above board and free from such... amusements.

You know it would be funny though ~ I always want for my enemies when they turn marque to cast a spy network then sink there Man Of War , that would be so classy...

THE IRON BANK OF IBERIA

-------------------------------------------------------------

Greetings!

It is with great pleasure the Iron Bank announces the completion of its vault upgrade!

For weeks teams of dedicated Iberian gnomes have worked long hours to extend our vaults even deeper into the living rock beneath our head-quarters and now the second phase can be opened to our customers, allowing storage of up to 5,000,000 gold coins per account!

Our skilled gnomes will be continuing their efforts to create even greater capacity and we hope to be announcing further upgrades in due course.

Fair winds at your backs!

THE IRON BANK OF IBERIA

-------------------------------------------------------------

Greetings :

Given the forthcoming changes proposed for bank operations and the uncertainty thus arising from these future plans : The Iron Bank now seeks to prepare itself for the proposed new conditions : Thus, we must regretfully ask all non-Spanish citizens to prepare accounts in banks affiliated to their respective nations (or of sufficent level to be able to service non-citizen accounts) and prepare to move their funds to Banks who will be able to service their future needs : Further, the Iron Bank will suspend all current loan applications already approved by the Bank from non-Spanish citizens and reject any new applications from non-citizens until the new limits and trade barriers are finalised and implemented.

EDIT : (pending further notification of any changes, account facilities and loans will continue to be offered to non-citizens.)

We hope you appreciate these steps need to be taken now to minimise any disruption or problems given the nature of the changes being proposed.

Danik : Chairman of The Iron Bank of Iberia

I know this is not your fault but this new rule sucks for every small nation in the game!

The rules haven't been changed yet, nor do we know when or the full extent of them : I'm just warning folk to prepare for them, as I must.
