Actually, the 'land-locked' voodoo queen tactic, where the caster has nothing to risk so is not worth hitting back on, was pioneered by ZomB itself : used to some effect by cappy and redish in their guild, and continued to be used once they re-joined ZomB : I dont recall hearing many complaints about it from ZomB players when it was lighting up targets for them to hit. Indeed, when in discussions with your guild lately, the attitude was quite dismissive of it as a tactic of concern, the opinion given was that if you didnt like it, you should hit the caster, not anyone else in the guild. That opinion was claimed from the 'moral high ground' as well.
So, imagine my surprise when Zomb, having been subjected to the tactic from SFD, decided to wage war on a guild the caster wasn't even in. The 'moral high ground' does seem to have shifted somewhat, doesnt it? The core of the current complaints about the practice seems to be that others have adopted it and are using it with some considerable success against ZomB itself. Well, it's hard to come to any another conclusion than : 'As ye sow, thus shall ye reap'.
