THE IRON BANK OF IBERIA

----------------------------------------------------------

The Iron Bank is pleased to offer for sale :

A Ship-of-the-Line, being the property of a gentleman of the sea.

The vessel is clean-hulled, freshly tarred and provisioned and can claim a total of 60 attribute points.

Your offer, in coin, credits or both, should be made to Mr Daniel Dravot, (#43694).

The best overall offer will secure this fine investment.

Fair winds at your backs!

Daniel Dravot : Chairman of The Iron Bank of Iberia

And of course the people that are blocked can not make a offer of credits , so there be no point...

Can the payment be a period of 2 weeks or does it have to be direct? As in after 2 weeks the payer has to give the credits / gold coins then receives the code of the sotl?..

The forum mail is not blocked, and folk who are blocked in-game mail can be unblocked on request.

The bank is open to negotiate terms, but the best overall offer will receive first consideration. But do not despair, further vessels of equal quality may become available in due course.

To be honest, I don't have much idea myself as to what would be a 'fair' selling price for such a ship. I know what one costs, in turns and gold, to build, there is also the cost, in turns and cards, maybe credits in the market, to add the atts to get one to 60: but others may baulk at such cost, some may be happy to pay it. So this is a kind of exploration of the market via private bids ; I think you are suggesting something closer to a public auction, which may be the next step in this experiment.

Lets say for Sotl the average price is what 60 - 100 credits?...Depending on how rich you really are.

Lets also say the average Ship Of The Line needs 14 MCs to get it to 60 Attributes : We will say that the MCs were got for 20 credits per one... So 20 creds x 10 = 200 creds then 20 x 4 = 80 so far that is 280 Credits , add how rich the player is , i would say you Danik are a " Rich " player so approx 75 credits.

So...
200 + 80 = 280
280 + 75 = 355 Credits.... Is what i would pay if i had that many credits : Me myself would offer 300 credits and 5 Million gold coins via bank account , if 10 credits = 1 Million....
