I think you have it confused. Marquess missions are for 20 points, taking you from 80 to 100 points. 4 missions of 5 each. The extra missions are for other ranks. Now, if there ever has been something different, I cannot say 100% as I remember some updates at the ranks after its initial release. However, from what I see in the changelog, there have been no recorded changes which seems like it has been like this since start.

Since the Black Death/Transport Immigrants nerf, missions became harder at this point as more cards (double) were needed. Missions never got updated after the nerf to Black Death/Transport Immigrants. Now, that a lot of people changed nationalities, these cards became rare, but nothing uncontrollable as we speak for a common card after all.

When you begin the missions for a new country, you start with 0 loyalty points, whereas with your beginning country, you start at 10. This however, only affects your first promotion as the 2nd promotion always starts with you at 20 loyalty points.

Loyalty points were never additive (cumulative, how to say, they do not add up carrying up from the total from previous rank - instead, they start up from a speicific point each rank). So if you do extra missions at one rank, these were never carried over to the next rank. This is because we offered the extra missions to make it more convenient for current rank and not for the future ones. I believe this is the main source of your confusion here, calling a bug there.


Therefore, I fail to see any bug.

It was others who talked about points carrying over.

The fault is within the mission itself, the amounts listed for the loyalty reward are not accurately additive within that class rank, regardless of past rank performance. I started marquis missions for example with 85 loyalty points needing to get to 100, 15 points not the 20 you say here we need and in fact you do--but that translates into a mission that APPEARS skippable but is not.

Please do a quick dummy run through the missions yourself. So many people are doing them now, and they all say the same thing...

You cannot start Marquess at 85 points. Marquess always starts at 80 points. If you finish Count at 85 points the Governor will start you from 80 at Marquess. I explained above.
I checked up the code before posting, I will re-run the missions to make it sure.

I swear to god when I started it said I had 85 points and needed 15 more to get to 100...listen, its not the end of the world if you intended us to do all missions. The same thing happened I believe two levels prior.

I posted on my thread the exact moment I made each rank. Most were like hours, but the breaks that were days were directly from the bug.

Now, no biggie, I've said my piece--I will now let it go:)

Whatever it is, it has been like this since start. The real question here is whether or not it keeps the loyalty points from previous missions or not. I firmly believe that it does not. I will check it later today in the code and in-game to re-assure it.

I have no issue with the why it panned out, it just does not make it clear that you cant be carrying points from one level to the next, so when you do a mission and earn say 4 extra points and another that give you 1 extra the head says you banked 5 points because it does not mention no point carried over from previous title achievements. If this was made clear then I would have been completely fine knowing that

It is a bit difficult to always include all details. We always try our best though to make most self-explanatrory. For the rest,we create manuals, we have added an entry to the Titles FaQ.
