I think it was actually my stupid idea that was fun for a while, but the newbie trading blitz w newcomer status has to end. It blocks legitimate piracy by placing unremovable barriers to plunder.
How about a time limit as well as a turn limit? Maybe a whole new mechanism altogether, cause I know when I was a noob I did the opposite and blew my immunity in an hour running around exploring with instant travel.
