That jeep looks so goofy next to Biden. I can't counter everything you said right now and perhaps I don't need to. But I will say those mistakes made by the robots were not corrected, or at least they haven't been as of my knowledge but I may look into it further. I assume it's pretty hard for someone at the public schools level to reach someone from DOGE. As for egg prices, they are still at astounding rates. Gas is still well above $3 a gallon here when it's usually at $2-2.20. haven't seen the price for any gas except 88 go down which is like $2.70 out in the suburbs but seems to get less miles out of a tank. Bleh. But so much for what he and Elon are doing wrong. Tell me what you think they are doing right. What should I and other Americans be looking FORWARD to for this presidency? An honest question, I will keep an open mind.

Lol, I hope you and other democrats keep acting in your current fashion of telling lies and fear mongering.
That course of action as time goes on will bring even more dems to the republican side
and then maybe we get a Ramaswamy president or next best (maybe) a Jd Vance pres. (still not sure about him. his mentor being who he is keeps me cautious)
but as for what you should expect that is good... nothing because what he campaigned on you don't consider good :D :D :D

Never been a dem, never will be. Instead of changing to your "side" I hope new parties emerge out of this. The two party system is so majorly flawed and it's meant to keep the rich in power and the people divided. Imagine how much better we'd have it if people weren't forced to pick between Trump and Kamala or Trump and Hillary

Tariffs : would it not make more sense to place a tariff on what you export , thus increasing the cost to the country you wish to punish, than placing it on what you import from that country, thereby placing the cost on your own citizens?

Just a thought.

Tariffs are collected at ports of entry paid by the company/nation
any resulting markup that results from that tax is passed on to one of the usa's biggest assets to other countries... our buyers
if your lumber steel aluminum or other product is 25 percent higher
in most cases, you won't sell much thus being effectively removed from the USA buyer market although you paid already to enter it

Yeah I mean I'm not 100% sure what are all the differences between Australian and American elections but last federal election we had there was a fairly large swing away from the two major parties in Australia. The major parties are Labour and the Liberals/ Nationals which are called the Coalition. Then the 3rd largest party are the greens. This was because a lot of people were fed up with the major parties and voted for independent candidates. I'm not sure if independent politicians have gained ground in American politics.

Another thing about the most recent federal American elections were that it seemed to me like there were almost no other candidates apart from Biden and Trump because I swear before 2016 it was more competitive between candidates compared to the last 2 elections.

As for the tariffs a big part of the reason why Trump is putting tariffs on everyone is apparently due to trade deficits except with countries like Australia the trade deficit is actually in your favour which makes these blanket tariffs on everyone does not make any sense.

It just erodes other countries trust in America.

So since Canada has had tariffs on us for years we shouldn't trust them?
