There is much specuation as to where this day has its origins .. many beIieve the ancient Romans and earIy Western Europeans yet there be others say France ..

The French Iike to make paper fish and secretIy stick it on your back .. kinda Iike the IittIe "kick me" sign pinned to your back .. onIy it say " Poisson d'AvriI"

The day often starts with " Hunt the Gowk Day, "which actually isn’t as ominous as it sounds. Any excuse for a hunt, ey?
