Argo skips into her private marina and jumps aboard her beautifully carved and shaped MoW.
She dismisses the sailor at arms who greets and escorts her to her cabin. After a brief chatter and once she is sure she is alone she pulls the small chest out of her bag and places it on her highly polished walnut and oak table. It is still somewhat hot to the touch.
She fumbles amongst her books looking for the parchment with the enscription on it that will give her the power over it when she utters those words!
She cannot seem to find it. Wondering if its safe to take out of the box without the words, she decides against it.
Once the box is open the Egg of Creaton inside will absorb whatever is around and just create it .. be it animal, mineral, veg or something else even if unholy .. Whatever is near it will just multiply of it own accord unless one can recite the words.. "Damn thing" she gasps getting even more frustrated rifling through the books and spilling them onto the cabin floor as her concern builds ...
A besquillion thoughts rush her mind - She frowns, 'That parchment is gone - I swear - Twas 'ere.. right betwixt these two old log books .. " She stands still and holds her brow for a moment - She has no idea what to do now... She places the small chest in the safe and then removes it again .."On second thoughts, if the parchment be gone - then someone knows of it ' .. and she tosses the box back into her leather bag and heads for the tavern.
She thinks "Perhaps Mel can use her crystal ball to see what happened to the parchment .. that of course, will involve the need to tell her of the chest's contents .. DAMMIT DAMMIT DAMMIT - and then she will ofc have the words before I do ..."
As she jumps down off her Mow she says out loud, " Shiver me timbers,, its a risk Ive no choice but to take ... "
She arrives at the tavern and joins Mel and Jack at their table. Jack seems fidgety and impatient. Picking up the jug of rum and pouring herself a shot she sighs. The all just look at one another.
