I will use this for educational purposes, about this christianised thing, based on the Scandinavian Yule.

A legend in Iceland says, if you get no new clothes, a giant cat will eat you. Therefore, trust the dog.

In Scandinavia, we have a "yule goat" - christmas goat, if you may. Well, in Norse mythology, goats seems important, so we did a bit of fiddling, and sometimes, Santa Claus here, would ride a goat, after Yule was Christianised. Because goats. However, the swedes aren't too smart with the goat, and managed to set a city on fire with one. In 2020, Sweden almost made a record, having it not burn down 4 years in a row.

Before Santa had reindeers, Thor had goats. Goats, again. Therefore, I am a firm believer that, Thor is the real santa claus.

Some people make a cake, formed as a oak log - This is because, in old days, we tended to burn oak logs, with runes carved, for protection.

"Yule" today, is associated with Christmas. However, I'm quite certain that, "Jolly" and "Jolie" (Maybe? The latter is French, I don't speak surrender) Anyway, these words, I'm positive are based on the old norse word for yule, "Jol" - Mainly because joli(e)? idk, means festivities.

The Christmas feast - In scandinavia we mainly eat pork; This is because, in the old ages, we slaughtered a boar for a feast, due to the goddess Freya. This was a form of sacrifice for fertility.

Also; Santa Claus dress in green. I don't know why, I don't know how, but Coca-Cola really did Santa Claus dirty there. He's also Dutch.
