your forgetting out of how many people. Based on numbers from google the amount infected compared to dead during this pandemic is according to my calculations (which may be wrong because I'm no maths genius) is 1.6%. Also if the death rate is supposedly 0.4 percent that would only be 876000 deaths which is clearly wrong since according to the slightly outdated figures google is giving me 4.55 million have died from Covid. The only articles that I can find that support this claim are from last year and therefore outdated. Coronavirus strains from last year cannot be compared to this year as the infection rate spreads much faster this year alothugh I can't find by how much. I think instead of one person infecting and average of 3 other people it was somewhere around 8. Anyway the point is that that percentage is wrong although it varies by country but 0.4 death rate is definately wrong especially in the US.
