Buying at low prices is just a good idea, that's not "creating an artificial demand". That's an actual demand. Just try doing what you claim is happening yourself, and you'll see that it simply won't work.
As for me, like I said, I've hardly ever sold a credit. I'm buying. And when my orders are filled, I usually place new ones. So how would high prices benefit me? If people overbid me, I'm not getting to buy the credits I want.
There are only 5 visible spots on tthe credit market. The person doing it is adding multiple orders at low prices to show the buy proce is higher. This elevates the sell price. We can sit here and have this circular argument all day long but in the end it is quite obvious what is happening here is artificial market control. Your statement a few months back congratulating someone on the ridiculous amount of credits acquired, the abvious activity in the credit market, and the fact that this is even a topic shows that I am not the only person that sees there is an issue with it.
Your earlier statements show that it is happening. With so many ways to make easy money in this game, taking advantage of a flawed system to make even more profit is nothing but greed. Isn't it enough that this same person basically has a strangle hold on the card market as well, top 5 in plantation producers.
the game needs some sort of price control on the credit market, or some sort of price control on the card market. Or, a complete re design of both. Piracy has disappeared because you can not make money as a pirate. The cost of cards plus the artificially inflated price of credits has killed off all real pirates. Something needs to be done.
Ambush price, 9.88 cr @450,000= 4.4 mill
Leviathon 14.33 @ 450,000=6.45 mill X 10(or 11)= 64 mill.
You are arguing that this is all ok. Killing off pirates in a game called pirates glory, because 10 bill gc is not enough, 100k credits is not enough, 50-100k voodoo cards is not enough......
Some people in this game give away their wealth because they have nothing else to do with it. They use it to help newer players grow and stay interested...... others simply acquire and hoard and kill off the things that made this game fun.
..... but heh....... it is a smart business practice right???
